Why many people choose a private transfer
With four people and four suitcases the train becomes hard work: the Circumvesuviana is a local train, often packed, with no luggage space. The direct bus is convenient, but it leaves you in the centre and you still have to reach your hotel.
With a private transfer you walk out of arrivals, find your name on a sign and get out in front of your hotel. Tolls and parking are included in the price I give you in advance.
From Sorrento, the rest of the coast
Sorrento is a good base: Positano is about 40 minutes away, Pompeii less than an hour. If you like, on the following days we can add an Amalfi Coast tour or a day at Pompeii and Herculaneum to your arrival transfer.
