In short
The private transfer from Naples Airport to Pompeii takes about 30 minutes without traffic, along the Naples–Salerno motorway. I take you to your hotel, the entrance to the archaeological site or the sanctuary. A very popular option is the transfer with a stop: you land, visit the ruins while your luggage stays in the van, then continue to Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast.

Transfer with a stop at the ruins
It is the smartest way to use your arrival or departure day. If you land in the morning and your hotel is in Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi, we stop at Pompeii: you visit the ruins, your luggage stays in the van, then we carry on.
The same on the way back: you check out, visit the ruins and I take you to the airport. Allow at least 3 hours for an essential visit to the site.
- Your luggage stays in the van during the visit
- I drop you off and pick you up at the agreed entrance
- Tickets for the site are sold on the official Archaeological Park website
The entrances to the site
The Pompeii archaeological site has several entrances, including Porta Marina and piazza Anfiteatro. I drop you at the entrance that suits your route and pick you up at the exit we agree on, so you don’t have to walk back.
Opening hours, closing days and tickets change during the year: check them on the official website of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii.
Pompeii is not just the ruins
Modern Pompeii is also home to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, a pilgrimage destination for people from all over Italy. I can take you there too, or to a hotel in town if you want to see the ruins at a relaxed pace over two days.
