Minori the town of good taste
A wide beach, a Roman villa right in the centre and a long tradition of pasta and pastries: Minori is the Amalfi Coast at its most authentic.

A villa by the sea
The Romans had already chosen Minori: in the centre of town you can visit a first-century AD seaside villa, with frescoed rooms and a large nymphaeum. In the Middle Ages the village was the shipyard of the Republic of Amalfi.
Its patron saint is Santa Trofimena, whose relics, according to tradition, arrived from the sea: the basilica is dedicated to her.

Pasta, lemons and pastries
Minori has a long history of pasta-making: ’ndunderi, a handmade pasta among the oldest in Italy, are still made here. Its pastry shops are known throughout the country.
The Path of the Lemons starts from the village and leads to Maiori through terraces of citrus groves.
